Kasten History Part 3

This fourth video is Part 3 of the Kasten Family History. It features five generations of the Ferdinand Friedrich "Fritz" Kasten family.

Kasten Family History Part 2 considers the children of Ferdinand and Caroline Kasten and their families. I left out Ferdinand's second child, Friedrich Kasten, to be the focus of Part 3.

The second Kasten History video is Part 1: From Pommern to Wisconsin. It covers the Ferdinand Kasten, his children, and the places they settled in Wisconsin.

This is the first of four videos I produced about the Kasten Family History. This one gives some background on their place of origin in Europe.

Reading Improvement

In addition to working with my English Language Learners, I was asked to take extra groups for Reading Improvement. These students had multiple issues, but most striking was their lack of fluency and expression. I divided them into sub-groups and assigned projects for them to work on these skills. Together we recorded the results in a slide video format. The kids loved these projects and often hunted me down in the building to ask for extra reading sessions. Imagine that! Here is one example.
